Care, refund and evidence
GACA covers Saudi departures on any carrier and arrivals on national carriers where departure-country compensation has not already been paid. Departure waits bring refreshments from the first hour, meals after three hours and hotel/transfers after six hours. More than two hours can trigger a refund choice; more than five can lead to the cancellation provisions. Do not automatically combine these alternatives with a delay award.
Save your booking, operating carrier, notice timing, scheduled and actual arrival, written reason and expense receipts. Claim in writing with the airline first; for an unresolved dispute check the competent authority and its procedure. Do not enter booking references or documents here.
