Care, refund and evidence
APPR applies to flights to, from and within Canada, including connected itineraries within scope. Cause and airline size determine rebooking and refund obligations. A disruption within the airline’s control but required for safety does not produce the same inconvenience compensation. If you take a refund instead of travelling, use the separate refund provisions.
Save your booking, operating carrier, notice timing, scheduled and actual arrival, written reason and expense receipts. Claim in writing with the airline first; for an unresolved dispute check the competent authority and its procedure. Do not enter booking references or documents here.
