Journey

If the flight number is unknown, enter origin and destination below. You can refine minutes and disruption type in a later step.

ORY · Paris Orly Airport

Optional. Enter scheduled versus actual arrival at the final destination and delay hours fill automatically. You will confirm delay hours and minutes in the What happened step.

Claim deadlines vary by country and procedure. Check time limits. A future date is supported for an already announced cancellation or schedule change.

Select two different airports, enter a valid travel date and confirm your booking. If connecting, select a distinct airport and the affected flight.

Before you start: five facts this estimate needs

This calculator checks preliminary EU261 and UK261 compensation bands, then keeps refund, rerouting and care as separate questions.

  • Route: departure, final ticketed destination and any connection.
  • Operating carrier: the airline that flew the disrupted leg, not only the ticket seller.
  • Journey: travel date and whether connecting flights were on one booking.
  • Disruption: final-arrival delay, or cancellation notice and replacement timing.
  • Cause and evidence: the airline's written reason, offers and relevant receipts.

No booking reference, passport, email or claim file is required. Nothing is uploaded. For delay compensation, use arrival at the final ticketed destination—not departure delay.

How route facts become a preliminary result

Example only · no payment promise
  1. 1 · Coverage

Departure, destination and operating carrier select the working framework.

  2. 2 · Timing

Use final-arrival delay, cancellation notice and any replacement arrival time.

  3. 3 · Remedy

Compensation, ticket refund, rerouting and care are separate questions.

  4. 4 · Evidence

Cause, airline offers and receipts can change or limit the preliminary result.

EU example: long-haul delay

A flight departing the EU, about 5,800 km to a non-EU destination, arriving 3 hours 30 minutes late has a conditional €300 per-passenger reference band. At 4 hours, the reference band is €600. The operating carrier's cause evidence can still change entitlement.

U.S. example: refund, not an EU-style band

For a covered U.S. cancellation or significant change, a traveler who rejects the alternative and does not travel may have a ticket-refund path. U.S. rules do not create one universal fixed cash band for ordinary delays.

Check the current EU passenger-rights table and U.S. DOT refund guidance. Dates, jurisdiction, distance, notice, rerouting and cause all matter.
